False Alarm

I went in for my weekly monitoring of the babies on Friday the 13th. The non-stress monitoring picked up that I was contracting consistently every 4 minutes. Because of that the hospital wanted me to come in for some additional monitoring. I spent 2 1/2 hours hooked up to the monitors. Again the contractions remained regular. The doctor gave me a shot to slow/stop the contractions and they sent me home. However, the doctor also put me on restrictive bed rest - that means either the couch or bed. Or course this is already driving me crazy and it has only been 24 hours. I need to go into the clinic on Monday to check everything out again. They want me to make it to 36 weeks (which is March 21st).

We have been very blessed to make it to this point with very healthy babies so if we can make it another week, the likelihood of us bringing them home with us is much greater. Please keep us in your prayers as we continue this adventure.
